UPDATE:
I'm just starting to put [Exclusive] next to the name for the Coming Soon sections, so if I missed one, please, don't be all negative about it and just point it out. Thanks. I'm also removing some games as a few of you are bitching that they aren't good. If one of your favorite games gets taken away, I'll put it back if you request.

Recently I've seen a lot of threads pop up about "What games should I buy for <insert console>?". So in light of those threads, I've decided to put together a large compilation of popular games coming out for all consoles within the next year or so. I'll attempt to keep it updated the best I can, but I'd appreciate any help as far as updates and inclusions go.

I apologize if I leave out a game or two, I'm going by games I've heard of/were at least mildly popular. If you have a personal favorite that wasn't that popular and I left it out, feel free to add it. :)

I'm also not including sports games. They're easy enough to find and know about on your own.

Ace Combat 6: fires of Liberation An arcade flight simulator based in a fictional war.
Armored Core 4 A customizable robot game based in a fictional futuristic war.
Army of Two A co-op third person shooter based around mercenaries.
Assassin's Creed Based during the crusades, you play an Assassin who's goal is to eliminate key political figures during that time.
Battlestation: Midway A WW2 strategy game based around sea warfare.

BioShock A first person shooter based in 1960. You play as a man who has crash landed a plane into the atlantic and soon finds himself in an under the sea utopia gone wrong.
Blue Dragon A very large JRPG, with many famous names behind it's making.
Bully: Scholarship Edition An open ended game that has you as a high school bully. From Rockstar games.
Burnout Paradise An open ended racing game and sequel to the acclaimed Burnout series.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Sequel to the Call of Duty series and first to go outside of WW2.
Call of Juarez A wild west first person shooter that has you controlling two distinct characters.
Conedmned 2: Bloodshot A horror first person shooter game that has you in a twisted city full of insane people.
Condemned: Criminal Origins Prequel to the above.
Crackdown A crime fighting third person action game from one of the developers of the old GTAs.
Dark Sector A third person shooter that has you as a super powered man.
Dead or Alive 4 A fighting game based around women with large tits.
Dead RisingAn open world zombie survival game based in a mall after a zombie invasion. You must survive 72 hours while either progressing the story or just surviving.
Devil May Cry 4 An action game and sequel to the hit Devil May Cry series.
DiRTAn off road racing game with a realistic feel.
Dynasty Warriors 6 A button mashing action game and sequel to the Dynasty Warriors series.
Dynasty Warriors; Gundam A button mashing action game based around the concepts of the Dynasty Warriors series and the Gundam universe.
Eternal SonataAn innovative JRPG based around the work and mind of composer Frederic Chopin.
Forza Motorsport 2 A realistic racing game that has a very useful detail editor.
Frontlines: Fuel of WarA first person shooter that takes place in the near future. Similar to Battlefield 2142 in some regards.
Gears of War A third person shooter that takes place in a fictional land that has been all but destroyed by the "Locust".
Grand Theft Auto IV The sequel to the controversial series Grand Theft Auto. You play as Niko in a fake New York City as you try to gain cash and find a man you've been searching for.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock A rhythm game that gives you a fake guitar to simulate playing the Guitar.
Halo 3A first person shooter, and smash hit. Takes place in the 2500s as you fight aliens and the sort.
Hitman: Blood MoneyA third person shooter/stealth game that has you as Agent 47. You must assassinate targets for cash as you progress through the story.
Just CauseAn open world game that has you set on a fictional island that is descending into civil war, mostly thanks to you. You play as a CIA agent that must take down the current regime.
Lost OdysseyA JRPG that has you living throughout 1000 years. I believe that's what it is from what I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong.
Marvel Ultimate AllianceA co-op action game that takes place in the Marvel comic universe.
Mass EffectA western RPG that takes place in a near to far future. You travel across the galaxy trying to stop a mysterious force from destroying all of mankind.
OverlordA Pikminesque game set in a Tolkein like fantasy land. You play an evil overlord who must take back the lands his former lost.
Project Gothan Racing 4A racing game that has you use the fastest cars in the world in stunning detail.
Rock BandA rhythm game from the original makers of Guitar Hero. Has you playing either the Guitar, Drums, Bass, or Vocals.
Saints RowAn over the top open world game that takes many elements from GTA IV and makes them ghettofied.
Stranglehold An action game directed by the famous action director John Woo.
The DarknessA dark first person action game that has you in control of Jackie Estacado from the comic "The Darkness"
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion A western RPG set in the fictional region of Tameriel.
The Godfather: The Game An open world game based in the Godfather universe.
The Orange Box A large compilation of games from esteemed developer Valve. Includes Half Life 2, HL2 Episode 1 and 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 A third person shooter based around a fictional Mexican/American war. I also suggest looking into the first.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 A third person tactical shooter based around fictional terrorist attacks in Las Vegas. I also suggest looking into the first.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double AgentA third person stealth game that has you as a secret agent working for a terrorist organization as well as a U.S. secret ops agency.
Viva PiñataAn interesting sim/garden game from acclaimed developer Rare.
